How do you get your reader's attention? How do you overcome your competitors's noise and distractions? Ask any successful online marketer and they will tell you, 'content is king', and you need to be constantly creating remarkable content. This is one of the biggest challenges for small businesses and content marketers.
There’s no one “magic bullet” for creating remarkable content. Neither is there a single style or type of writing that’s remarkable to all readers. There are, however, a few important content marketing principles you should consider when creating remarkable content.
Here are some of the most important:
- Talking about your company and how great it is does not create remarkable content. Remarkable content relates to the reader's needs, helps them to solve their problem, or provides them the answers they are looking for.
- Investigate the keywords and phrases your potential visitors are searching for and write relevant content but focus on making sure that what readers find is remarkable to them and not the search engines.
- How do you ensure that your content is remarkable, versus ordinary or even horrible? A good definition of remarkable is something worth talking about or sharing. Create things that are worth sharing and talking about. Usually, these things are what is different, bold, new, and/or unbelievable.
Creating remarkable content means going that extra mile or taking that extra step.
